Chief Samuel Chidiebele Ugochukwu Featured in Cutting Edge African Magazine

We are proud to announce that our esteemed Honorary Doctorate awardee, Chief Samuel Chidiebele Ugochukwu, has been featured in Cutting Edge African Magazine. This recognition highlights his remarkable contributions to entrepreneurship and philanthropy, showcasing his significant impact on societal growth.

Born on April 16, 1985, in Nsugbe, Anambra East LGA, Anambra State, Chief Engr. Ugochukwu is a renowned entrepreneur, businessman, and philanthropist. As the founder and chairman of Nippon Group Ltd., he has built a diverse conglomerate with notable companies, including Nippon Furniture and Steel Co. Ltd., Nippon Safety Concerns Ltd., Nippon Construction and Property Development Ltd., and Nippon Luxury Homes.

Growing up in a middle-class family, Chief Engr. Ugochukwu excelled academically, graduating with distinctions in his WAEC exams from Ogbunike Boys High School. He later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the International University of Management and Administration (IUMA) in the Republic of Benin. His entrepreneurial journey began in the early 2000s, leading to the establishment of various successful ventures.

Chief Engr. Ugochukwu’s dedication to safety and security led him to found Nippon Safety Concerns Ltd. in 2018 and Nippon Construction and Property Development Ltd. in 2020. His latest venture, Nippon Luxury Homes, focuses on managing and marketing properties developed by the group. Additionally, he is a sports and fitness enthusiast, having founded the Emirates King’s Club of Nigeria, a premier fitness club.

His outstanding contributions have earned him numerous accolades, including the National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) Award for Outstanding Support, the United Nigeria Award for Brand Patron, and the Emirate Kings Award for Excellence.

Chief Engr. Ugochukwu is happily married to Barr. Mrs. Chinenye Maureen Ugochukwu, and they are proud parents to three children.
