PHU’s renowned accreditor, QAHE, has Reached an MoU for reciprocal recognition with Tamilnadu Council for Open and Distance Learning (India)
The International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary & Higher Education (QAHE) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Tamilnadu Council for Open and Distance Learning (TCODL, India: https://tamilnaducouncil.ac.in/). This partnership marks a significant milestone in the development of quality assurance in open and distance learning, as well as the promotion of educational excellence in India.
Reciprocal Recognition and Partnership:
Under this MOU, QAHE and TCODL, India have agreed to collaborate on reciprocal recognition and further partnership initiatives to enhance the quality assurance mechanisms in open and distance learning. The key areas of collaboration include:
1. Mutual Recognition: Both organizations will explore opportunities to establish a framework for mutual recognition of accreditation standards, fostering international collaboration and trust.
2. Quality Assurance Development: QAHE and TCODL, India will work together to develop and enhance quality assurance practices in open and distance learning, aligning with international standards and best practices.
3. Knowledge Sharing: The partnership will facilitate the exchange of information, research findings, and publications related to quality assurance in open and distance learning, promoting the dissemination of knowledge and expertise.
4. Capacity Building: QAHE and TCODL, India will collaborate on initiatives to enhance the capacity of educational institutions and professionals in implementing quality assurance practices in open and distance learning, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education.
