Pebble Hills University Confers Honorary Doctorate on AI Governance Leader Sukrit Kalia
Pebble Hills University is proud to announce the conferment of the Doctor of Science in Artificial Intelligence Governance and Agentic Systems (Honoris Causa) upon Sukrit Kalia, a globally recognised leader in AI governance, enterprise AI architecture, and responsible autonomous intelligence.
Mr Kalia currently serves as Subject Matter Expert and Chief AI Architect at Omantel, where he has driven transformative AI initiatives that delivered a 30% revenue growth within 12 months, a 50% increase in user engagement, and a 40% improvement in operational efficiency. His pioneering work in developing governance-first frameworks for Agentic AI systems has enabled organisations to deploy autonomous AI with accountability, transparency, and robust control mechanisms.
Prior to his current role, Mr Kalia held senior positions at McKinsey & Company as Senior Enterprise AI/ML Architect and served as Chief AI Advisor and Board Member at Abaan International. Across his career, he has architected scalable AI/ML and Generative AI ecosystems on AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, while leading AI Centres of Excellence and enterprise-wide digital transformation programmes.
His thought leadership has been widely recognised. In 2026 he received the Global Recognition Award for AI Governance and Agentic AI Architecture and was named in The Spotlight Magazine 40 Under 40 AI Leaders. He has authored influential whitepapers published by TM Forum on Agentic AI Governance and Generative AI-driven hyper-personalisation in telecommunications, and his work on Agentic QA has been featured by QA Financial.
Pebble Hills University confers this honorary doctorate in recognition of Mr Kalia’s outstanding contributions to the responsible advancement of artificial intelligence, his leadership in bridging AI innovation with enterprise-scale governance, and his commitment to shaping ethical and high-impact AI adoption globally.
