Sukrit Kalia
Sukrit Kalia is a globally award-winning AI governance and enterprise technology leader with over 15 years of experience driving responsible AI transformation at scale. He currently serves as Subject Matter Expert and Chief AI Architect at Omantel, where he leads enterprise AI governance, strategy, and the deployment of next-generation Agentic AI systems.
A pioneer in governance-first Agentic AI frameworks, Mr Kalia has enabled organisations to adopt autonomous AI with accountability, transparency, and robust control. His work spans Generative AI, Machine Learning, MLOps, and cloud-native AI architecture across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI. He has successfully led initiatives that delivered measurable business impact, including 30% revenue growth, 50% increase in user engagement, and significant operational efficiency gains.
Previously, Mr Kalia served as Senior Enterprise AI/ML Architect at McKinsey & Company and as Chief AI Advisor and Board Member at Abaan International. In these roles he designed scalable AI ecosystems, established AI Centres of Excellence, and advised C-suite and board-level stakeholders on AI strategy, governance, risk, and investment.
His thought leadership has been recognised internationally. In 2026 he received the Global Recognition Award for AI Governance and Agentic AI Architecture and was named in The Spotlight Magazine 40 Under 40 AI Leaders. He has authored whitepapers on Agentic AI Governance (TM Forum) and Generative AI in telecommunications, and his contributions to AI-driven quality assurance have been featured by QA Financial.
Mr Kalia holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering and a Post Graduate Program in Machine Learning & Big Data. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Artificial Intelligence. He is passionate about building high-performing AI teams, advancing AI literacy, and promoting responsible, ethical AI adoption across industries.
