Philippe Funk is a Creative Scientist, interdisciplinary researcher, and project manager specializing in cyber technologies, AI, and cybersecurity. He is the Founder and President of the Board of Directors of the Polytechnic Cyber Institute in Luxembourg, an online-first, accredited institution focused on breaking barriers in education through research-driven teaching methods. He also serves as a Key Technology Expert for DG CNECT (European Commission) on EU critical digital technologies, with a focus on Quantum Technologies.
With extensive international experience as an IT instructor, research consultant, and external expert to public institutions, Philippe works at the intersection of technology, education, and policy. His expertise spans digital inclusion, research management and evaluation, cybersecurity training, ethical technology practices, and cross-disciplinary program development. He is currently pursuing a PhD in IT & Cyber Technologies and a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA).
