Dr. Ahmed Abdurahman Mustafa is an Ethiopian scholar, consultant, trainer, and institutional leader with more than four decades of experience in leadership, governance, management, and capacity building. He holds a Doctor of Science in Engineering Management, along with advanced qualifications in quality management, leadership, human resource management, commerce, and chemistry, and he is widely recognised for his commitment to professional excellence and public service.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ahmed has served in senior roles across academia, government, industry, and consultancy. He has been General Manager of Golden Bridge Consultancy since 2004, Dean of CPU College of Business and Computer Technology, Director General of King’s Information Technology College, and a former official in Ethiopia’s Ministry of Industry and related organisations. His work has consistently focused on organisational development, strategic management, entrepreneurship, and leadership advancement.
In addition to his executive experience, Dr. Ahmed has built a strong reputation as a trainer and consultant, delivering hundreds of high-level training sessions for banks, ministries, private companies, chambers of commerce, and development organisations. His areas of expertise include strategic leadership, transformational leadership, project management, customer service, human resource management, decision-making, and organisational change.
Dr. Ahmed is also an active contributor to scholarship, writing, and thought leadership. He has published articles, prepared training materials, developed leadership books and manuals, and contributed to public discussions on governance, ethics, education, and national development. His broad intellectual work reflects his long-standing philosophy of being “a contributor for the betterment rather than a mere consumer.”
Beyond his professional achievements, he has played significant roles in civic, religious, and national institutions, including leadership positions in city administration, corporate governance, banking compliance, social foundations, and community organisations. He has also received numerous awards, recognitions, and honours for his service and impact, including the title of Ambassador for Peace.
Dr. Ahmed is married and a father of three sons. He is fluent in Amharic and Oromiffa, with additional proficiency in English and Arabic, and he continues to contribute actively to Ethiopia’s development through leadership, consultancy, training, and public engagement.
