This recognition highlights Dr. Ikotun’s significant contributions to the field and his commitment to advancing knowledge and education in engineering.
Dr. Ikotun, who holds a PhD in Automation and Mechatronics Engineering from Commonwealth University, UK, and an MBA in Entrepreneurial Operations from City University, is a distinguished engineer with extensive experience in automation, mechatronics, and information technology. His diverse educational background and ongoing pursuit of an MSc in Information Technology at the National Open University of Nigeria showcase his dedication to lifelong learning and professional development.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ikotun has held various senior positions, including Managing Director at Leyland Technical Academy and Chief Executive Director at Automation and Engineering Academy. As an Adjunct Lecturer at First Technical University, he has played a vital role in training and mentoring the next generation of engineers, emphasizing the importance of practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge.
Dr. Ikotun’s expertise in PLC programming, electrical and control systems, and project management has made him a valuable asset in the engineering community. His active involvement in professional organizations, including the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Institute of Management Consultants, further illustrates his commitment to excellence in engineering education.
